Small Bird Necklace Sterling Silver and Number 8 Turquoise

Oh, my heart sings to make these little birds. This is the "small" bird of the 3 bird sizes, yet larger than Goddess Isis Winged Necklaces. With wings that span 5", this beauty is no shrinking violet, but a great statement size for everyday. I hand-texture 2 layers of sterling silver to create fixed wings that hold a stylized bird with high-quality Number 8 turquoise body (Number 8 turquoise is no longer mined, high quality pieces are even more hard to come by). The bales are elegantly forged to hold a sturdy sterling curb chain. I add my hand-forged snake clasp and finish it with a hand-formed sterling feather to dangle down your lovely back. The chain has 2.25" of adjustment options to fit most. This lovely bird is meant to sit high on your chest just under your collarbones. The back is finished with a textural moon, Metalstory Logo, and my makers initials. Each bird one of a kind, and likely to become collectors pieces.
