These hand-forged sterling feathers rarely make it to the website. They usually find their home before I get a chance to list them. They are easy to wear pieces and great gifts.
My husband wear his feather daily it reminds him to stay light and soulful when the day gets challenging. It also looks great with a button up shirt, t-shirt and layers of other necklaces.
Each feather is hand cut, filed, textured, and formed to create a one-of-a-kind piece. No two are alike. I approach each instinctively, adding texture, pattern and form. Each looks as if it has history and will get better with wear. Held on a full grain leather cord with a hand-made bead. A simple knot for closure, the cord can be cut to desired length and will wear in nicely.

I love a well-worn, well-lived-in piece, but some care should be taken to protect the Earth made stone in your jewelry.
- remove before bathing, swimming, or exercising
- avoid submerging in water
- keep free from chemicals, abrasives, pressure and high heat
- avoid ultrasonic cleaners
- slow the tarnishing of silver by keeping it in an air tight place
- polish silver, when desired, with a Sunshine polishing cloth (included)
- if needed, clean with mild soap, water and a soft cloth (without submerging)
- Ivory Creek Variscite can change color if exposed to oils, lotions or other liquids
