A goddess worthy art piece.
This statement necklace features three of my sterling silver stylized birds. I created each elegant bird from scratch - cutting, forming, filing, texturing, soldering and polishing each element from sterling silver. After many hours the pieces are ready to be carefully laid out and soldered together in stages. I spread this out over days so I can meet each stage with full energy.
To crown this beauty, I selected three supreme cuts of desert bloom variscite.
Variscite is a cousin to turquoise, but more rare and found in the same arid regions of the American Southwest. Desert Bloom Variscite is has a lovely gem like quality to it and striking matrix.
Substantial sterling silver curb chains link this trio, tempering the sweetness with an edge. My signature hand-forged snake clasp holds it safely and one silver feather gently drapes from the clasp down your neck.

I love a well-worn, well-lived-in piece, but some care should be taken to protect the Earth made stone in your jewelry.
- remove before bathing, swimming, or exercising
- avoid submerging in water
- keep free from chemicals, abrasives, pressure and high heat
- avoid ultrasonic cleaners
- slow the tarnishing of silver by keeping it in an air tight place
- polish silver, when desired, with a Sunshine polishing cloth (included)
- if needed, clean with mild soap, water and a soft cloth (without submerging)
- Ivory Creek Variscite can change color if exposed to oils, lotions or other liquids
